Can I modify or cancel my booking?

You can modify or extend your rental face to face with a Europcar representative at a Europcar location or you can call the local station, please use our Station Finder to find the number of the station, or you can call one of our Reservation teams to extend the rental by contacting us on 0371 384 0294 and select "option 3" to speak to the Reservations team.


You may cancel your reservation by using the same booking channel as the one used for your reservation or by contacting our local Call Center on 0871 384 9900 (calls will cost 10 pence per-minute plus your phone company’s access charge). Cancellations made through the Europcar reservation website will take effect when recorded in the Europcar reservation system and can be accessed through the Manage my Bookings page.


You may cancel your prepaid reservation as follows:

  • Customer may cancel the reservation free of charge up to 48 hours before the check-out start date and time; Pre paid reservations, that are cancelled less than 48 hours prior to pick-up, are fully refunded minus a fee of 50.00 Euros, or 45 Pounds Sterling, or 59 Swiss Francs, or 63 US Dollars.
  • If You have not cancelled and fail to come to the Europcar rental location to pick up the Vehicle, the prepaid amount will be refunded less a “no show” fee according to country of rental (please refer to the Terms and Conditions of Hire, and more particularly Tariff’s Guide of your country of rental, by clicking here and selecting your country of rental). This amount will be charged either in local currency or in your card billing currency, where applicable and at the exchange rate and conditions valid at time of transaction.

Prepaid amount will be refunded in 3-10 working days
