What are free single and double car upgrades, and am I eligible?

Free single and double car upgrades with Europcar allow you to rent a vehicle from a higher category than the one you booked, at no additional cost (upon fleet availability).

• Single car upgrade: you are eligible for this benefit when reaching the Privilege For You Adventurer status. After having booked your rental, direct yourself to your Europcar agency and benefit from one higher car category than the one booked, free of charge.
• Double car upgrade: you are eligible for this benefit when reaching the Privilege For You Navigator status. After having booked your rental, direct yourself to your Europcar agency and benefit from two higher car categories than the one booked, free of charge.

If not proactively offered, don't hesitate to ask your counter agent directly. This benefit is subject to vehicle availability at moment of pick-up. If the single or double car upgrade is not available, other alternatives may be offered based on availability.
Please note that free upgrades are not available for Premium and Luxury, and Van or Truck rentals, for rentals exceeding 14 days and during peak holiday periods. Your rental must be placed at least 48 hours prior to your pick-up to guarantee your eligibility.

Please be aware that there are certain periods during the year when free car upgrades are not available. Those unavailability periods depend on your pick-up country.
